This page explains in plain language what cookies are, which ones this site uses, and how you can control them. We keep our cookie use to a minimum — only what is necessary for the site to function.

1. What Cookies Are

2. Cookies We Use

This site uses a very small number of cookies. Here is the complete list:

3. Cookies We Do NOT Use

We do not use any of the following:

Advertising cookies — we do not run paid advertising campaigns that would require ad-tracking cookies.
Retargeting pixels — we do not embed Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tags, or any similar retargeting infrastructure.
Social media tracking — we do not embed social media share buttons, like buttons, or widgets that track you across the web.
Analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any similar behavioural analytics platform.
Cross-site tracking — we do not participate in any form of cross-site or cross-device user tracking.

4. Google Fonts Disclosure

About the Google Fonts request

This site loads fonts (Inter and DM Serif Display) from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser loads a page on travelfirst.us, it makes a request to Google's servers to download these font files. As part of this request, your IP address is sent to Google.

This is a standard web behaviour — your IP is sent to any server your browser requests a file from. This is not a tracking cookie and Google does not set any cookies on travelfirst.us through this request. We use font preconnect (<link rel="preconnect" href="https://fonts.googleapis.com">) to minimise the data shared.

The handling of your IP address by Google is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We use Google Fonts solely for typographic display. No advertising or tracking connection is established through this request.

5. How to Control Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that deleting or blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of some websites, including the request form on this site. Below are instructions for major browsers:

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit travelfirst.us, a consent banner will ask you to accept cookies. If you accept, the tf_cookies_accepted preference is stored in your browser's localStorage for 12 months, so the banner does not appear on every visit.

To reset your consent and see the banner again, you can clear the tf_cookies_accepted entry from your browser's localStorage. Instructions:

Chrome / Edge: Open DevTools (F12) → Application tab → Local Storage → travelfirst.us → delete the tf_cookies_accepted key.
Firefox: Open DevTools (F12) → Storage tab → Local Storage → travelfirst.us → delete the tf_cookies_accepted key.
Safari: Open Web Inspector → Storage → Local Storage → travelfirst.us → delete the entry.
Alternatively, clearing all browser data (including localStorage) for this site will also reset your preference.
